Rebbeck Brothers – Covid Update

With the second lockdown upon us, I just wanted to reassure all of our clients that it’s very much ‘business as usual’ here at Rebbeck Brothers. After the previous lockdown eased, most of our team continued to work at home for at least part of the week, with access to our cloud based management/accounting software and phone system. In accordance with the latest requirements, we will now increase the number of days our staff work remotely. However, we will retain a small number of the team working in the office in order to deal with essential administrative tasks.

Since the start of the pandemic, we have been working hard to ensure that we can constitute to provide a high level of service to our clients – this has included investment in computer software and equipment, as well as training and supporting our team to work remotely. We will continue to use email as the principle means of communication, except in the case of legal notices, which will usually be emailed and posted. For those clients without email, we will of course continue to use the post. Meetings will be held remotely using either Zoom or Teams. Like most customer facing businesses we are aware of the anxiety, stress and frustration that the Covid crisis has placed on our clients – we do understand these pressures and thank you in advance for your patience during these difficult times.

We would also like to reassure you that the contractors we work with will continue to clean and maintain the communal areas of your home. Where we have recently started major works, these should not be affected by the lockdown. However, you will appreciate that the regulations, working environment and materials supply chain can change quite quickly – if this does affect your property, we will keep you updated.

With the long dark nights ahead and the added worry of Covid, please have a thought for your neighbours, particularly those who may be unwell, elderly or living alone. The community spirit shown during the last lockdown was amazing and we had so many comments from our clients to say how this had helped them through the difficult times. Please also remember that we are here to help as well – our friendly team are more than happy for people to call up just to say hello and I will also be encouraging my colleagues to pick up the phone and have a chat over the coming weeks.

Thank you for your support and patience and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me
